I always wonder who comes up with this stuff. The best worship songs ever? Who decides? Is this God’s top 50?
In all seriousness, what is your current favorite worship song? I’m always on the lookout for great songs that resonate with people’s hearts. Just for fun, if someone mentions my current favorite worship song, I’ll send you two of my CDs for free. One for you, one to give away.
Let me know. On your mark, get set, comment.

I love the bridge to hillsong united’s hosanna. Every time I sing the lyrics it touches me. But overall, I’ve been a big fan of freedom reigns lately. An oldie but a goodie. Annnnnnd delirious’ rain down.

My favourite is Chris Tomlin’s Our God is Greater – this has a special meaning to me and it is a very declarative song!

I Love the song My Savior My God By Aaron Shust. When my Grand father was a Hindu Guru/priest he was seeking for a Savior who Lives and a Savior who Loves, he found out that Jesus Christ is that Savior! How Great is our God who Lives and Loves us & worthy of All our Praise and Worship!

By current, do you mean on the radio now? Or which ones are on my personal hit parade? Cause if it’s the latter, there’s no way I could limit it to 50!
Some at the top of my list include: “Worshiping You” by Deluge, “No Sweeter Name” and “How He Loves” by David Walker, “Amazed” and “Ever Faithful” by Brad & Rebekah, “My Tribute Melody” by Israel Houghton, “Son of God” by Starfield, “You Deserve the Glory” by Aaron Keyes, and of course two of yours “For The Glory” and “Way of Surrentder”

“Forever Reign” by Hillsong (actually written by Jason Ingram of One Sonic Society) is pretty bomb too.

Bro, we’ve been doing “Forever Reign” and loving it. Such a great declaration.

I changed my vote…as much as I love “Our God is Greater”, I feel totally empowered and uplifted by Skillet’s “Awake and Alive”. It may be unconventional, but Skillet is an excellent Christian rock band and I love them! π
Christer Kallstrom, Sweden says
“Your name” and “Today is the day” are my favourites right know. Both made by Paul Baloche. By the way don’t miss his Instructional-DVDs. They’re so great!
