‘Tis the seasons for lists, is it not?
Since so many people are reflecting on what they enjoyed in 2014, I figured it may be nice to mention some of my favorite apps, books, & music.
Rather than create a few different posts, I figured I’d put it all in one place. Would love to hear your favorites in the comments.
So let’s get started.
My Favorite Apps
1. Jumpcut – A cut & paste app that sits in your menu bar. I couldn’t live without this.
2. Scrivener – My command station where I do all of my writing.
3. Caffeine – A quick, easy way to keep your screen on. Super simple but useful.
4. Podio – Our team switched all our internal communication and task management over to this. A little bloated, but helpful.
5. Rdio/Spotify – Still the best way to keep up with new music and new songs for church. Buy the albums you love 😉
6. Downcast – How I listen to podcasts.
7. Intelligentsia – A great new app for coffee enthusiasts. Love the timer for all your favorite brews – Chemex, aeropress, v60, etc.
8. AeroPress – If you own an AeroPress, you need this app. Some really fun recipes. I look forward to using this every day.
9. Planning Center – If you lead worship, I probably don’t need to explain this. Essential.
10. Tempo – My “go-to” click track/metronome app
11. Evernote – I’ve mentioned this for years. This is the first place information goes from my brain – podcast ideas, blog posts, lists, songs, anything. Essential in so many ways.
