Around the holiday season, without a doubt, worship leaders are busy.
There’s Christmas productions, new year planning, and extra services happening.
It’s easy to fall prey to the rush – where you are simply pulling things off in order to survive.
Matter of fact…this feeling can continue throughout the year. Service to service. Just getting things done. Checking off the to-do list.
But what if you could be more present? Slow down enough to realize the miracle that is happening before you?
I want to pray for you.
My prayer for you is that…
– The music you make would paint the widest, most vast picture of God’s glory.
– That people – young and old – would catch a deeper revelation of who God is as you lead worship.
– That you would know your success and identity is found in being loved by God, not by all the work that you do for Him.
– That God’s praises would be sung and His presence cherished in the hearts of His people.
– That as you plan for 2014, you’d have the faith and courage to believe it to be the most exciting, best year yet.
God is moving. May you be overwhelmed by His nearness.
God is amazing. May you be overcome by His glory.
God loves you. May you be secure in His everlasting acceptance.
Merry Christmas.
On another note, thank you so much for being a faithful reader of my blog in 2013. I so appreciate the opportunity to connect with you. If you haven’t said “hello” in the comments yet, I’d love to hear from you!
Merry Christmas!
