Are you an artist or pastor?
A leader of people or a creator of art?
That’s a tension I live with every day. And I know I’m not alone.
Think about what you do.
Chances are, someone told you you were good at it.
The reason you are a successful songwriter, worship leader, musician, pastor, or artist is because someone spoke to you. For a moment in time, they stepped outside of themselves and lit up your life.
Your words have more power than you realize.
Sometimes we don’t feel successful.
Without explanation, we awake in the morning to those nasty feelings of dissatisfaction and failure.
The first thing you choose to do will make or break the rest of your day.
I don’t think it’s healthy to live in the past.
Rather than walking through life burdened by regret, choose to turn your “today” around for good.
But our past mistakes aren’t an accident. Everything can be used to teach and bless others.
If there was one thing you could pay for to get a massive result, what would it be?
For my worship team, I’d pay for unity – a team of hard working, Jesus loving, sold-out for the Gospel, passionate musicians.
If only it was that easy.
While you can’t pay for unity, it’s a value worthy of your best effort.
