Our culture is. I am.
We work, we achieve, we get paid. We repeat the cycle.
Productivity seems to be the beginning and end of our lives. But when it comes to being a Christian leader, you need to remember one very important fact.
Achievement isn’t the goal.
God is.
The idea of flowing in the Spirit can be a turn-off to many.
We’ve seen enough crazies to know we don’t want to be “that guy.” The problem is that worship isn’t simply a performance of worship songs. It’s participation in the living, ever-present, life-changing presence of God.
Yea, that changes things.
Sometimes an album comes along that carries a special anointing – a sound, a voice, a message that awakens your heart to see more of God.

Of course, you should develop the discipline of songwriting.
Of course, you should go to the next level as a worship leader.
Effective ministry is never less than hard work. But it’s also so much more.
