Sublime. Two groups I have not heard of. Thanks for the comment, Nick! How have you been, bro?

Great man! Finished up seminary last year, had a baby and now am a pastor at a church in NJ. Still have fond memories and a great appreciation for APC and the burgh though!

I LOVE Ian Mcintosh’s albums. Amazing! Also getting into Brad and Rebekah now, so thanks for that. Definitely going to be checking out some of these others now too.

Did Chris let you hear the Harbour album? 🙂

Unfortunately I haven’t heard it. They moved out to Clearfield so we haven’t seen em in a few weeks. I’m gonna give it a listen on their site and possibly download it.

i would recommend any of the Jesus Culture cd’s, and also the cd – Here is Love by Bethel Live

Love those! That new Bethel album is totally on fire.
I love these album lists. You should do more. I am always on the look out for new music. I love the album “Beauty is What Remains”. Have you heard any of the Chair and Microphone albums from Enter the Worship Circle? My favorite is Vol. 2 with Aaron Strumpel. I love reading your blog. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for reading, Josh. Really appreciate it, man. I haven’t heard the worship circle albums. I remember an old one from like 10 years ago, but that’s probably not what you’re referring to, right?
Here is the one specifically I am really diggin at the moment. http://www.entertheworshipcircle.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=136&products_id=384 I am pretty sure the album is on grooveshark.com if you want to give it a listen. I absolutely love the simplicity of album in stark contrast to the technicality of his playing. (If you can call it that.) Their first album did come out in 1999 so it may be one that you have heard.
Thanks for the ideas. I’ll give some of them a listen and tell Allie too.
No problem! Ask Allie if she has any recommendations 🙂
Two lesser known groups
Citylife Boston is great

Carmen Dei is also very good (http://www.myspace.com/carmendei)

Both albums by Ascend The Hill are incredible!
Creative and out of the box worship music, but still very congregational and sing along able! haha
