Why I Do This
You may be wondering why I write a blog, record a podcast, write ebooks, and create courses while still being a worship pastor? Yes, it’s a ton of work. But the truth is, I love it. I’m a teacher at heart and this is the place for all my best ideas, best practices, and best resources. I also love people. Getting to connect with amazing people like you is such a joy. I know leading worship in the local church can be a lonely place. You feel alone, inferior, ill-equipped to do the job you’ve been given. Maybe you are a part time or volunteer worship leader and you feel you just don’t have what it takes. This is a place for you to receive weekly encouragement. It’s one of the great joys of my life to create encouraging, challenging resources for you as well as share conversations with some of the leading voices in worship from all over the world.“Worship Leaders exist to shine a spotlight on the glory of God and get out of the way. We foster environments where people can see, feel, and experience the presence of God.”That’s how I see it and I’m here to encourage you along those lines.
What This Means for You
I really hope you find value here. Since I’ve been running this site since 2011, thousands have been encouraged. Most of what I offer is absolutely free. I’m not here to steal your money. However, there are also some resources that do cost, which help me pay for the site and continue to create higher quality content. Every week, you’ll find articles related to you as a musician and/or worship leader. Sometimes it’s a post like this that will challenge you as a musician, other times it’s aim is to strengthen the heart of what you do as a worship leader. Sometimes I like to stir the pot and cause you to think differently. Make sure you subscribe HERE.Here’s where I’d Start:
